On Thursday, March 26, the Performing Arts department came together to showcase the work they've done throughout their seasons.
The indoor winds ensemble performed their show "Amelia." The ensemble is fresh off their runner-up finish at the Indiana Percussion Association Winds Scholastic A state finals.
Winter Guard performed their show titled, "Through the Storm." The guard competed at the Indiana High School Color Guard Association Class A state finals for the 24th consecutive year. They placed 5th in their division.
Kokomo's indoor percussion ensemble performed their show based on The Planets Suite by Gustav Hols and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.
KHS's show choir, Karisma, performed their competition show. The group performed "The River," "Moon Dance," "Texas Hold Em," "Morning Glow" and "Sound Off." Soloists included Payton Moore, Zion Smith and Kensley Johnson.
Vocal Jazz earned gold at their competition. They performed "Devil May Care," "Blame It on My Youth" and "Rollercoaster."
The Performing Arts Winter Showcase offered a unique opportunity to see all of the groups perform in one place.
